Description
Brightfield Endoscopic Trolleys for Surgical and Diagnostic Equipment
Brightfield endoscopic trolleys provide a mobile workstation for arranging endoscopic imaging equipment, surgical devices, and supporting modules. They are used in operating theatres, endoscopy departments, and procedure rooms where several devices need to be positioned together and remain accessible to medical personnel.
The product range includes six trolley models with different frame materials, dimensions, and shelf configurations. Depending on the model, the equipment stand offers three, four, or five shelves, allowing hospitals and medical centers to select a layout suited to their clinical activities and available workspace.
Organized Equipment Placement
The multi-level design allows individual system components to be installed on separate shelves. This arrangement is suitable for endoscopic video processors, camera control units, light sources, insufflators, irrigation pumps, recording devices, and additional modules used during minimally invasive procedures.
A dedicated monitor mounting bracket provides a position for the surgical display above the equipment shelves. The vertical arrangement makes it possible to build a complete endoscopic workstation while keeping the individual devices accessible for operation and maintenance.
Aluminum and Steel Frame Options
Brightfield offers different frame constructions to meet the equipment and configuration requirements of medical facilities.
- German anodized aluminum frames: available in the ET-AGL2-450S5, ET-AGB2-450S5, and ET-AGB1-500S3 models.
- Anodized aluminum frame manufactured in China: available in the ET-AUB2-450S5 configuration.
- Powder-coated steel frames: available in the ET-SUB2-450S5 and ET-SUB2-450S4 models.
Steel shelves provide dedicated surfaces for individual equipment modules. The standard shelf dimensions are 450 × 450 mm for five models, while the ET-AGB1-500S3 features 500 × 400 mm shelves. Powder-coated shelving is supplied as specified for the individual trolley configurations.
Mobile Design and Professional Casters
The trolleys are fitted with professional casters from Colson, Blickle, or Manner, depending on the configuration. The wheeled construction allows equipment assemblies to be repositioned within clinical rooms when needed, without individually moving each device.
The vertical frame and compact multi-shelf arrangement help organize several devices within one mobile workstation. This is particularly relevant for operating rooms with multiple endoscopic systems and limited space around the operating table.
Power Distribution for Medical Equipment
The trolley range includes built-in power distribution options for connecting multiple equipment modules. Depending on the model, 19-inch or 10-inch power distribution units are supplied with Schuko sockets and a power switch.
Selected models also offer an alternative Brennenstuhl Bremounta power distribution unit manufactured in Germany, featuring six Schuko sockets. The socket configuration and distribution unit type vary by model and are detailed in the technical specifications below.
Three-, Four-, and Five-Shelf Configurations
Five-shelf models provide additional space for equipment-intensive endoscopic systems. These include ET-AGL2-450S5, ET-SUB2-450S5, ET-AGB2-450S5, and ET-AUB2-450S5.
The four-shelf ET-SUB2-450S4 is a shorter steel-frame configuration intended for installations requiring fewer equipment levels.
The ET-AGB1-500S3 has three shelves as standard, with two- and four-shelf options available. It features a different base design and 500 × 400 mm shelves.
Applications in Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery
Brightfield endoscopic trolleys can be configured for equipment used in laparoscopic surgery, rigid endoscopy, gynecology, urology, arthroscopy, and other minimally invasive procedures. They are suitable for assembling new equipment stations or reorganizing existing compatible systems.
When choosing a trolley, the main considerations are the number of equipment modules, shelf dimensions, overall trolley size, frame construction, and required power distribution configuration.
